  • Worked with DC VOTE to organize volunteers and participants to attend the 2007 DC Voting Rights lobby Days on Capitol Hill & 2007 DC Voting Rights March
  • Arrested in 1997 in Statehood Demonstrations
  • As National Committeman and President of the Young Democrats of the District of Columbia (1976 to 1979) introduced the resolution to have the Young Democrats of America to support DC statehood, which was the first national affiliate of the Democratic National Committee to pass a resolution supporting DC Statehood.
